Matt Martin Solo Photography Exhibition
After a three month photo trip to NYC, Matt Martin decided to leave Exeter and pursue life as a photographer in Brighton. Months later, he has bagged himself a Solo Exhibition at Garage Studios - Brighton’s largest photography studio, which is home to Kavin Mason (a.k.a Dark Daze) and boasts a client list including the likes of The Guardian, BBC and Crush Design Agency among many others. While living in Exeter, and especially since moving to Brighton, Matt has been one of the most pro-active photographers I know. Spending all of his time and money shooting and processing 35mm film on his Kontax or Yashica cameras and networking as much as possible has led him to defining a style that has been sought after by the likes of Peggy Sue, Kate Nash, The Ting Tings, Time Out Magazine (London), Huh Mag and Platform Online, to name a few. Matt has also interned for Tim Barber and has been photographed by Ryan McGinley! Anyway, go to his exhibition! It’s at Garage Studios in Brighton on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th October.
