A recent photoshoot for local band, Fountains, by Nathan Blaker.
I only had 30 mins and one roll of Fuji Superia 400 for this shoot. I wanted to keep it minimal and straight forward, with natural light and no overly staged shots. I also didn’t want it to look like every other photoshoot I see of hardcore bands these days, it all gets a bit too generic with bands trying to copy their idols and fit into a scene. I don’t like that, and I don’t like the thought of having to find some woods or a river scene. A five minute walk to Megabowl was adequate; however, I did want to make the most of the early evening Autumn Light.
